Where is Mike Ravenhill?  He is working on defaults with LBC.

For that matter is Mr.Coyle still involved? He is not involved with LBC managment.

Is there any plan to have a homeowners shuttle to and from town and the airport? There is no plan at this time . There is lots of legal paperwork that has to be done to get this approved.

Any discussion about having locked kayak areas along the water front? Not at this time!

What is going on with the roadways? They will be completed but at a slower pace than hoped. When will it be done? No set time. Why was the road lowered? Redoing the infrastructure and leveling out

what was there.

Will someone from the new mgr company be at the next homeowners weekend? Not planned, those are for the homeowners.

Who is still working at the Arizona office and what are their job titles? There are a few people left there, but most of the team is on the Loreto Bay paseo or at the INN.

Any questions you have should be sent to moreinfo@loretobaynews.com

We have been told that the electrical transformers were going to be moved under ground. They will all be under ground but not until more sales have been made to generate more money. When? Sorry but no date is set as of yet.

Warranty group seems to have down sized and there are many issues with things under warranty.

The builders in founders basically left after doing their job and it has been impossible to get them back to fix many of the problems. LBC tried to stay up with issues as they came up. In AV the builders do not get their final payment until all the issues within the warranty time period is up.

When will the Aqua Viva cannels be opened to the sea? Maybe by the end of the year.

When will the many bridges be started over the canals? After all the building is complete and the

heavy trucks don’t need to get into the area. The main road to AV will soon be closed down to all traffic. All the workers and heavy equipment will come into the area from the main off ramp into Nopolo. This will keep the founders streets clean and used for pedestrians.

Can a homeowners please be on the group that will be helping with business development of the area? It has not come up at this time.

Where will a permanent homeowners parking area be located? There are 2 lots that will be over by the police station off the frontage road.

When will it be started & ready to go? Not until there are more homeowners needing that service.

Are there plans to have a Home Owners Meeting room? Yes, in the middle of the area in AV.

Can the homeowners have a room that we might have a workshop? Not at this time.

He might be back?

I’d like to share an email from David Butterfield that I got 2 days ago!

Hi Kaz,

For the last six months I have been working as Executive Chairman of a waste to energy company I co-founded seven years ago. It’s been an incredible experience. It’s still in the sustainable world but doesn’t satisfy my passion for building beautiful towns and buildings.

At the moment, I’m in Loreto helping an old friend, Kevin Kelly, to prepare a bid to buy Loreto Bay from Citi. Kevin and I were partners in the new town of Civano. He’s the one that really pulled it off. Until Loreto Bay, Civano was arguably the most sustainable project in North America. If Kevin wins the bid, Loreto will be transformed from the somewhat saddened state it is in now. Kevin completely gets sustainability and hospitality. His plan is to bring Canyon Ranch to Loreto. His passion is on a par with all of us who dreamed of what Loreto could be.

You are free to use this information and let people know what is going on. You can find out more about Kevin at Civanoliving.com

Trying to reach LBC and Beyond!

Thursday, February 5th, 2009

Wow! I don’t know about you but this new “Let’s communicate more” regime is worst than the last! I have been sending emails to as many email addresses as I can come up with. The response is I sent them along to someone else who can get those answers for you. Keep emailing me the questions you want me to ask. I will keep trying to get you the answers. I don’t think they get that we have a vested interest in the community. They did not receive our moneys but they have taken over the roll as managers. Lets get the meaning of that word to see what it is there should be doing?!…

“Management” (from Old French ménagement “the art of conducting, directing”, from Latin manu agere “to lead by the hand”) characterises the process of leading and directing all or part of an organization, often a business, through the deployment and manipulation of resources (human, financial, material, intellectual or intangible). …
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Management
This definition is interesting because it traces the root meaning back to the Latin phrase meaning “to lead by the hand”. Leading by the hand implies giving direction that is stronger than just a passing suggestion yet still fairly gentle in approach. Leading by the hand also implies that the person doing the leading is first going where the follower is being lead. The leader is not asking the follower to do something he is not willing to do himself.

I think this is good asking those being lead to do the things that they would not do themselves, communicate!?… I’m going to keep trying to reach the answer people. The managed peoples of the new regime! Wow here we go again!!!
